A Cultural and Land Conservancy
Our mission is to preserve and restore Native sacred lands, while providing educational forums on sustainable living practices.
Who We Are
Chinati Ixtlan is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to cultural and land conservancy near the remote West Texas village of Ruidosa. Our group brings the knowledge, experience and traditions necessary to help in restoring not only the 100 acres of land we inhabit, but in helping to reconnect the local indigenous community to their ancient homeland.
We wish to preserve the sacred sites of the area for the management and long-term protection and preservation of these tribal lands.
